Linkin Park – New Divide

Finally I got the song. I listened it for just one time only.Seems a little disappointing to me. Missing the screaming of Chester and the rap of Mike Shinoda.

>Rahman Calling

>For the first time ever my GOD of music, the Mozart of Madras, Double Oscar Winner AR Rahman will be  performing live in the city of Pune on Sunday, May, 31, 2009. This concert is part of AR Rahman’s Jai World Tour with over 70 artists and dancers which includes India’s best singers such as Hariharan, Sadhana Sargam, Blaaze, Benny Dayal, Rashid Ali amongst others. The Pune concert will be hosted at the sprawling Balewadi Stadium complex which recently hosted the Youth Commonwealth Games.

The proceeds of this concert will go to the Lata Mangeshkar Medical Foundation and the Alandi Dehu Vikas Parisar Samiti.

Lata Mangeshkar Medical Foundation, is a charitable hospital started by  Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar and run by Lata Mangeshkar Medical Foundation. It offers absolutely free medical care to 33% of its patients and also to all people below a certain economic strata.its a 450 bed hospital and cancer research centre. Its heard, I am not sure  abt this, that this year, the work for second charitable building, by the same name is slated to begin, post monsoon season.

The Sree Kshetra Alandi Dehu Vikas Parisar Samiti engages in a multitude of mass education projects, focussing on health, hygiene, etc. for rural populace in the holy temple town of Alandi, which is one of the most revered and visited piligrimage sites oh Maharashtra, and is visited daily by Lakhs of devotee of the philosopher-saint Sant Gyaneshwar. Though I have never been to this place, but I can imagine the holy importance of this place. Will be visiting it one day.

Isn’t this nice cause to visit the concert? Of course  it is! So be there people.

Even I will be there, but for only one reason. I am a die hard Rahmaniac and can’t miss the opportunity to see him performing live. This will be the moment of the lifetime for me. How can’t I be there when Rahman is calling?
